4K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT OF POSITION The Technology and Digital Communications Assistant is an IT Specialist who works under the direction of Nauset's Chief Technology Officer and Chief Network Officer to support all functions of technology and digital outreach for the district.
The Assistant will:
Oversee the NPS website to develop, maintain, and update current and accurate website content Evaluate and manage the effectiveness and performance of the website and make changes to improve the user experience Collaborate with all staff and administration to ensure that the website aligns with the district's brand and meets the organization's standards Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations, and ensure that the website is protected by enabling appropriate safety measures.
Engage the Nauset community with social media outreach that highlights the strengths and accomplishments of the district Coordinate the workflow and full execution of tech-related purchase orders and procurement contracts at the district level Assist the IT department in handling administrative aspects of technology, including onboarding/offboarding procedures for new and departing staff; Manage the scheduling and coordination of appointments, meetings, and events.
Edit and prepare documents, reports, and presentations as instructed.
Aid in inventory management, surplus declaration, and perform additional tasks assigned by the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Network Officer Assist with completing grant writing tasks
Qualifications:
Prior work experience as a website manager Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for website content management Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as Blackboard or FinalSite Basic graphic design skills for creating or modifying visual content for the website and social media Ability to create and edit multimedia content, such as videos or podcasts, for online platforms Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with social media platforms (e.
g.
, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills Highly efficient management skills with the ability to multi-task and ability to work independently.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
